Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Master of Computer Applications MCA in Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, KJCMT
A pass in any recognized Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level OR a pass in any recognized Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Note: Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination, subject to the condition that the entire mark list of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of seat allotment.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates is based on the entrance test conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, subject to rules. The entrance test covers the following areas of study at degree level
(a) Mathematics
(b) Statistics
(c) Physics
(d) Chemistry
(e) General Knowledge
(f) General English and
(g) Fundamentals of Computer Awareness.
The allotment of colleges to the selected candidates will be made by the Directorate of Technical Education primarily, on the basis of the rank in the entrance examination and then, on the option from the candidate. There are two categories of seats free seats and payment seats. The Director of Technical Education effects admission to both these categories.
