BSc Hons Horticulture

·          Applicant should have passed 2 years Pre-University Course or 10+2 level or 12 years schooling or its equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) subjects

·          Those who have studied only Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) are also eligible for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture Degree Programme Preference will be given to PUC (PCMB) students

Note:

Unfilled seats (i.e. leftover seats after allotting to eligible PCMB students) will be filled from eligible PCB students

Selection Procedure:

·          The selection of students on the mentioned course will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (i.e/ 12th).

·          Students are advised to fill all qualification details carefully in the application form, to increase the chance of selection.

Application Process:

Application (PDF) has to be downloaded from the University Website www.uhsbagalkot.edu.in from 21st October to 30th November 2020.

The duly filled in Application along with zerox copies of educational documents and Notarised Affidavit of Undertaking by the Parent and Candidate, the Sponsored shall give an undertaking on a plain paper that he/she has sponsored the candidate and will pay the prescribed fee regularly till the candidate completes the course to which he/she is admitted and Physical fitness and HIV certificate from the Govt. Hospitals, DD for Rs.1000/- towards Application Fee drawn in favour of Comptroller, UHS, Bagalkot, shall be submitted to the Registrar, UHS Bagalkot in person or by post on or before 30th November 2020 during office hours on working days (Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and on Saturday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm)

Application Fee:

Candidates should pay Rs. 1500/- through DD drawn in favour of Comptroller, UHS, Bagalkot.

Application has to be downloaded from the University Website: 21^st October, 2020

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 30^th November, 2020

Master of Science (MSc) (Horticulture)

The candidate should possess a Degree in B.Sc (Horticulture)/B.Sc (Agriculture) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Agriculture / Horticulture / Deemed University/Institutions recognized by ICAR with a minimum CGPA of not less than 2.25/4.00 or OGPA 6.00/10.00 (For SC/ST/Cat-I mere pass is enough).

For all the above mentioned disciplines and Degrees, only one application form has to be submitted. The blank application form and prospectus may be obtained from the Registrar’s office, University of Horticultural Sciences, Sector No. 60, Navanagar, Bagalkot-587102 either in person or through post by sending a Demand Draft purchased on or after the Date of this notification along with request application. Candidates seeking application through post shall send a self addressed envelope (A-4 size) affixing Rs. 30/- (Rupees Thirty only) postage stamps. The application forms shall be issued from 22.06.2011 to 21.07.2011. Applications are also available at KRCCollege of Horticulture, Arabhvi, College of Horticulture, Mudigree, College of Horticulture, Bagalkot & PG Centre, UHS, GKVK, Bangalore. The filled in application should be submitted to the Registrar, University of Horticultural Sciences, Sector No. 60, Navanagar, Bagalkot-587102 on or before 23.07.2011 (4.00 pm).

The candidates should possess a Master Degree in M.Sc (Hort0 / M.Sc (Agri) in Horituclutre or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Agriculture / Horticulture Deemed University/Institutions recognized by ICAR with a minimum CGPA of not less than 2.50/4.00 or OGPA of 6.50/10..00 (For SC/ST/Cat-I mere pass is enough).
