Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Ahmedabad has announced the exam dates for PIMS All India Common Entrance Test Post Graduate (PIMS-AICET-PG), which will be conducted in December 2016. The PIMS-AICET-PG will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015.

PIMS-AICET-PG is conducted for taking admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programs in various specializations in the constituent colleges for the year 2016.

·         Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine, Dentistry program should hold MBBS, BDS degree of recognized University by MCI, DCI.

·         A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March, 2016 is eligible.

·         Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned, left the course are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2016.

·         The candidates are required to fill the application form completely website.

·         The fee for the entrance test is Rs. 2,000/- .

·         Candidates can apply to University courses using any of the following 3 options:

Option 1: Download the application form from this website and send it to University by desired date.

Option 2: The prospectus can be purchased from University Admissions office or by writing to the following address on payment of Rs. 1000/- (for by post add Rs. 200.00 towards postal charges). The DD should be drawn in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune service branch.

Option 3: The prospectus is available in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune & Loni.

Paper Pattern for PIMS-AICET-PG 2016:

·         There will be one question paper of 3 hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be based on syllabus of respective undergraduate course and will cover all the subjects of undergraduate course ( i.e. MBBS, BDS as the case may be ).

·         Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Scratching, overwriting, tick-marking and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers and no mark will be awarded.

Last date for submission of application form: Monday, November 30, 2015.

Last date for submission of application form with late fee (2,000/-): Wednesday, December 09, 2015.

Date and time of PIMS-AICET-PG 2016: Saturday, December 19, 2015.

Announcement of Results: Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
