A candidate seeking admission to First Semester Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) must have passed: Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12-year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recognized Schools in the National Territory of Delhi.

10+2 examination conducted by the respective state / central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
OR
Any other qualification approved by the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
OR
Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Candidates who have been awarded grades in the examination which make them eligible for admission should also submit conversion certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority.
Provided that a student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.

Note:
a) The candidate having supplementary / compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be eligible for admission in the University teaching department.

Basis of Selection

If candidate has taken both mathematics and biology, the best of two will be considered for third subject after Physics and Chemistry. Basis of Selection
The merit list of candidates for admission will be in accordance with the following criteria:
For GPAT qualified candidates: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of GPAT Rank/ Score secured.
For Non-GPAT candidates: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in II, III and IV yrs (or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm.).
The calculation of CGPA to percentage (%) will be as follows:
CGPA = (Sum of SGPAs of 3rd to 8th Semesters) / (Number of Semesters)
Percentage (%) = (CGPA x 10)
For any other formula the candidate has to give the documented proof of the formula prescribed by their university. The decision of the DPSRU authority will be final and binding.
Candidate seeking admission to the M. Pharm., MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and Pharma Economics and Trade course must have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination with at least 55% in the aggregate of theory and practical of II, III and IV year/ III to VIII Semester from PCI approved Institute / University.
GPAT qualified candidates shall be considered for admission first
15% of the total seats will be filled by Non Delhi candidates (including from NCR of Delhi) with valid GPAT score and have completed B. Pharm. examination with 55% from PCI/AICTE recognized University/Institute.
Remaining 85% of the total seats will be filled by graduates passed out from Delhi Colleges/ Universities with valid GPAT score in order of preference of disciplines.
Out of 85% seats of Delhi category, 70% seats will be given to DIPSAR/DPSRU candidates and remaining 15% will be reserved for Delhi NonDPSRU candidates from NCT of Delhi.
In case of more than one candidate with the same score, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age.
If 70% seats out of 85% seats of Delhi category have not been filled up with GPAT candidates of Delhi and seats are vacant, the non-DPSRU GPAT Delhi candidates shall be considered for admission. If the seats of Delhi category, even after considering non-DPSRU GPAT Delhi candidates remain vacant, they shall be offered first to Delhi non-GPAT candidates of DPSRU. Further, the seats will be offered as per the sequence is given here as under:
The Non-GPAT seats will be offered on the conditions that they will not be given any scholarship from the University. The merit list for Non-GPAT candidates will be prepared on the basis of total of theory and practical examination of II, III, IV year (or III to VIII semesters).

For Non-GPAT candidates: The merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in II, III and IV yrs (or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm.).
The calculation of CGPA to percentage (%) will be as follows:
CGPA = (Sum of SGPAs of 3rd to 8th Semesters) / (Number of Semesters)
Percentage (%) = (CGPA x 10)
For any other formula the candidate has to give the documented proof of the formula prescribed by their university. The decision of the DPSRU authority will be final and binding.
Candidate seeking admission to the M. Pharm., MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and Pharma Economics and Trade course must have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination with at least 55% in the aggregate of theory and practical of II, III and IV year/ III to VIII Semester from PCI approved Institute / University.
GPAT qualified candidates shall be considered for admission first
15% of the total seats will be filled by Non Delhi candidates (including from NCR of Delhi) with valid GPAT score and have completed B. Pharm. examination with 55% from PCI/AICTE recognized University/Institute.
Remaining 85% of the total seats will be filled by graduates passed out from Delhi Colleges/ Universities with valid GPAT score in order of preference of disciplines.
Out of 85% seats of Delhi category, 70% seats will be given to DIPSAR/DPSRU candidates and remaining 15% will be reserved for Delhi NonDPSRU candidates from NCT of Delhi.
In case of more than one candidate with the same score, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age.
If 70% seats out of 85% seats of Delhi category have not been filled up with GPAT candidates of Delhi and seats are vacant, the non-DPSRU GPAT Delhi candidates shall be considered for admission. If the seats of Delhi category, even after considering non-DPSRU GPAT Delhi candidates remain vacant, they shall be offered first to Delhi non-GPAT candidates of DPSRU. Further, the seats will be offered as per the sequence is given here as under:
The Non-GPAT seats will be offered on the conditions that they will not be given any scholarship from the University. The merit list for Non-GPAT candidates will be prepared on the basis of total of theory and practical examination of II, III, IV year (or III to VIII semesters).
Age Requirement
Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm. / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management) / MBA – Pharma Economics and Trade course must be more than 21 years of age as on 31st December 2021.
Display of Merit List
The final merit list for all categories of M. Pharm. / M.B.A. (Pharmaceutical Management) / MBA- Pharma Economics and Trade will be displayed on the Notice Board / Website of the University. Admission to various courses will be offered to the candidates strictly according to the order of merit given in the merit list.
Candidates will not be eligible for admission if documents are not complete on the last date of application.
