The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through inclusive education. · Candidates must have done their post-graduation in the relevant discipline.
· Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% in their post-graduation. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved candidates (SC/ST/OBC).
· Candidates who have completed their MPhil (along with course work) or have cleared NET or any other equivalent exam will be exempted from appearing in IGNOU entrance exam.

Candidates can apply online at http://ignouexams.nta.nic.in/. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned step to fill the IGNOU application form
Steps to Apply
Step 1 – The candidate will have to visit the official website of IGNOU to register and apply online.
Step 2 – On visiting the homepage of IGNOU, you will have to search for the link ‘Online Admissions 2021’.
Step 3 – On clicking the link, the candidate will be directed to a new page and will have to click on the link ‘Click Here for New Registration’.
Step 4 – From there, you will have to fill up all the required details such as personal and academic details.
Step 5 – Once all the details are filled, you will have to upload scanned images of your passport-sized photograph and signature. The image should be in JPG/JPEG format and its size should not exceed more than 50KB.
Step 6 – After the images have been successfully uploaded, you will then have to proceed to pay the application fee.
Step 7 – The candidate will have to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. via Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.
Step 8 – Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation mail and an SMS on the registered mobile number.
Step 9 – With all the formalities completed, candidates are advised to take a print out of the confirmation page as it will come handy for future purposes.

Selection Process
Stage 1 – Entrance Test
The Entrance Test will be conducted by NTA at National Level across the country.
No separate communication shall be sent to candidates in this regard.
Stage 2 – Interview/Presentation
Short-listed Candidates in the Entrance Test will be called for an interview/presentation of Synopsis before the Discipline specific Doctoral Research Committee.
Offer letters for admission will be sent to the Selected Candidates only.
Admit Card
The admit card can be downloaded from the University’s website www.ignou.ac.in or; university issues Examination Hall Ticket to the students at least two weeks before the commencement of Term-end Exam.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Eligibility
Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 if they cleared their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects studied. Apart from this, candidates will meet the eligibility criteria for NCHMCT JEE only if they have secured passing marks in English (core/elective/functional) in their qualifying examination.
Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent exam are also eligible to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2018 on provisional basis. However, admissions offered on provisional basis will stand cancelled if the candidate fails to submit proof of clearing the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by September 30, 2018.
Eligibility Criteria on the basis of which candidates can apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 are as follows:
Qualifying Examinations for Indian Students
Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE if they have cleared any of the below mentioned qualifying examinations:
• Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognised Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised institution
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University
• Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education
• HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects
NCHMCT JEE 2018: Age Limit & Seat Reservation
General and OBC Categories
The upper age limit for candidates from this category is 22 years as on July 1, 2018. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for NCHMCT.
NCHMCT JEE 2018 Process
Admission through NCHMCT JEE will strictly be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the All India (Written Test) JEE. Based on marks scored by a candidate in NCHMCT JEE, he/she will be allotted an All India Rank (AIR). No group discussion or personal interview round is conducted for shortlisting candidates. So, admission is offered only on the basis of NCHMCT JEE merit and rank.
Step 1: Apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018
NCHMCT JEE 2018 application form is available online on the official website of National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates can submit their application form for NCHMCT JEEexam either online on by hand.
Step 2: Download NCHMCT JEE Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of NCHMCT JEE 2018 from April 2018 onwards. One copy of NCHMCT JEE Admit Card, which is duly attested by Gazetted Officer/Head of Institution last attended/Bank Manager of scheduled Bank/Area Post Master, has to be deposited with the invigilator for his/her signature. The admit card needs to be preserved by the candidate and produced at the time of Counselling, whereas, the second copy of the Admit Card is to be deposited at the examination centre.
Step 3: Appear for NCHMCT JEE
Candidates need to appear for the NCHMCT JEE exam as per the schedule and exam centre mentioned on their admit card. NCHMCT JEE 2018 is a three hour duration exam which consists of questions from five subjects which are - Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector.

IGNOU OPENNET-VII 2018 Eligibility Criteria
In-service Nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession
For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme, should have a certificate in any of the Nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery

Selection Procedure
Region wise merit list for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing January 2018 session will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the OPENNET-VII (Entrance Test) and will be displayed in the IGNOU website after the declaration of results
In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the OPENNET-VII (Entrance Test), the inter-se ranking of such candidates shall be determined on the basis of the following criteria for tie break

In case the entrance test form is downloaded, a demand draft of Rs.1050/- should be sent along with the form. Candidates will be required to apply/submit their entrance test form to the Regional Centre from where the candidates wish to pursue the Program
It may be noted that the Programme Study Centres for Post Basic BSc Nursing are located only in Regional Centres as given in Appendix-VII. So candidates are requested to ensure that they fill the RC code/PSC code in their entrance test forms of only those regional centres where PSCs for Post Basic BSc Nursing are activated and given in the Appendix-VIII

Eligibility for Bed Admission:
1. A Bachelor's degree or a Higher Degree with fifty (50%) percent marks from a recognized University. However, the requirement of 50% marks shall not apply to the teachers appointed prior to the commencement of NCTE Regulation Norms and Procedures, second amendment regulation.
2. Serving teachers with two years (2 years) full time teaching experience in a Government or

Entrance Test (OPENMAT XLIII)
Admission to Management Programmes of IGNOU is done through OPENMAT Entrance test, held twice a year. For appearing in the entrance test (OPENMAT) a student has to fill up Application Form for OPENMAT ENTRANCE TEST (Form 1) which is provided separately in an envelope along with this Student Handbook & Prospectus
The Entrance Test will be held on the following dates:

A student can appear in anyone of the above OPENMAT Examinations. If a student wants to appear in more than one OPENMAT Exams, she/he is required to apply separately
Admission Procedure
Admission to the Management Programme (MBA and specialisation PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP) will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year as per above schedule. A result card will be sent to all the candidates who have appeared in the OPENMAT Exam
It will indicate whether the candidate has qualified or not qualified for admission on the basis of cut-off score as decided by the University
After qualifying in OPENMAT, a learner will have to apply for admission on the specified APPLICATION FORM (Form 2) which is given in the Prospectus alongwith required documents to the Regional Director concerned
Semester I: Any five courses from MS-1 to MS-11 excluding MS-10
Semester II: Rest of five courses
Semester III: MS-10, MS-95, two specialisation courses of your choice and MS-100
Reservation
The University provides reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped Learners, as per the Govt. of India rules, for admission to its various programmes.
However, submission of forged certificate under any category shall lead not only to cancellation of admission but also be legally implicated as per govt. of

Course fee of Rs.1500/- per course can be paid through a Bank Draft obtained from any one of the scheduled banks in favour of "IGNOU" and should be payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated (both at the time of Admission and Re-registration).

For appearing in the entrance test (OPENMAT) a student has to fill up Application Form for OPENMAT ENTRANCE TEST (Form 1) which is provided separately in an envelope along with this Student Handbook & Prospectus
The Entrance Test will be held on the following dates:
OPENMAT XLIII - 04th February 2018 (Sunday, 10.00 am - 01.00 pm)
A student can appear in anyone of the above OPENMAT Examinations. If a student wants to appear in more than one OPENMAT Exams, she/he is required to apply separately
Admission Procedure
Admission to the Management Programme (MBA and specialisation PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP) will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year as per above schedule. A result card will be sent to all the candidates who have appeared in the OPENMAT Exam
It will indicate whether the candidate has qualified or not qualified for admission on the basis of cut-off score as decided by the University
After qualifying in OPENMAT, a learner will have to apply for admission on the specified APPLICATION FORM (Form 2) which is given in the Prospectus alongwith required documents to the Regional Director concerned
Semester I: Any five courses from MS-1 to MS-11 excluding MS-10
Semester II: Rest of five courses
Semester III: MS-10, MS-95, two specialisation courses of your choice and MS-100
Reservation
The University provides reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped Learners, as per the Govt. of India rules, for admission to its various programmes.
However, submission of forged certificate under any category shall lead not only to cancellation of admission but also be legally implicated as per govt. of
Fee Structure
Course fee of Rs.1500/- per course can be paid through a Bank Draft obtained from any one of the scheduled banks in favour of "IGNOU" and should be payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated (both at the time of Admission and Re-registration).
Please write your Name, Enrolment No. & Address on the back of the Bank Draft to ensure proper credit to your fee account.
Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances. It is also not adjustable against any other Programme of this University.

Hall Ticket
Hall Tickets will be only uploaded on the University website 10 days before the exam. Candidate can download hall ticket from IGNOU website (www.ignou.ac.in) and report to the examination centre for appearing in the entrance test
The OPENMAT Result Card will be sent to the students within 6-7 weeks from the date of the OPENMAT Examination. In case of non-receipt of the result card, result card can be downloaded from the IGNOU website

Eligibility for Management programme Admission:
1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category
OR
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of supervisory /managerial /professional experience, or Professional Degree in Engineering /Technology /Medicine /Architecture /Law /Pharmacy; or Professional Qualifications in Accountancy /Cost and Works Accountancy /Company Secretary ship etc. or Masters Degree in any subject.
2. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by the institutions like CAT, MAT and State Level Tests need not appear in OPENMAT. The cut-off percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the University.
3. Non-graduates(10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/supervisory/ professional experience are eligible for taking admission into Diploma in Management only, after clearing the entrance test.
NOTE: The University reserves the right to grant/deny admission to the candidates.
There is no age bar for any of the Programmes.
