Intermediate with Science or equivalent with two years experience in a sugar factory laboratory or fieldwork as on 15.03.2009, Experience will be counted from the day after the date of issue of Intermediate Marks-sheet and up to 15.03.2009 only. Nomination from a vacuum pan sugar factory is essential.
Duration: One and a half month (15th October to 30th November).
Reservation: In each course 15% of the seats shall be reserved for Scheduled caste and 5% for Scheduled Tribe candidates. If the numbers of candidates belonging to either of the communities are not adequate to fill up the seats reserved for them; it will be filled by candidates belonging to either community to the extent available. If the numbers of the candidates belonging to both communities fall short of the seats reserved for them, the remaining seats shall be provided to General Candidates. (II) Reservation shall also be made available in each course for (a) The candidates belonging to rural areas (b) Children of defence personnel either serving or retired or have died while in service. Certificate as prescribed must be submitted with the application for claim in respect of reservation otherwise such requests shall not be considered.
