i. A candidate must have cleared post-graduate (PG) degree or equivalent of minimum duration of 2 years from a UGC recognized Indian / foreign university in respective discipline with score of minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA. A 5% relaxation in score for SC/ST/OBC candidates ie minimum of 50% in PG degree or equivalent CGPA is allowed.
ii. Clearing online Entrance Examination of Sharda University followed by interview.
iii. Candidates with valid NET / GATE / SET / UET scores and any other equivalent test conducted by GOI accredited agency (to be decided by the selection committee) are exempted from entrance test but have to appear in interview. M.Phil. degree holders from UGC accredited universities are also exempted from entrance test but have to appear in interview.

Admissions to Ph.D. program (full-time and part-time) in Jan 2022 of Sharda University will be made strictly according to the merit and availability of seats through Entrance Test followed by Interview. Ph.D. Ordinance of Sharda University, available on its website, governs the Ph.D. Program. Full-time eligible students may get Fellowship as per Sharda University rules. A Candidate appearing for entrance examination for MDS will be eligible only if she/he:
1. has passed BDS examination from
Country.
2. has completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotating internship from centers recognized by the Dental Council of India for this purpose.
3. registered permanently with State / Dental Council of India at the time of admission.
4. possesses certificate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended.
The Candidate will also submit in original at the time of counseling / joining without which admission to P.G. Course shall not be granted.
Application:
Application form and information brochure are available at all the private dental colleges running the MDS course under the association against payment of Rs. 1000 as examination / test fee.
The Application form & OMR Sheet attached in information brochure should be filled correctly in candidates own handwriting and submitted to respective college. The application Form must be accompanied by the following certificates

An application possessing any one of the following qualifications shall be eligible to apply
Master’s degree in respective discipline with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) where marks are awarded

Selection Procedure: CAT, MAT, SURE (at campus and selected Attest Centers) & EMAT (at selected ENAT Centers) followed by Personal Interview & Group Discussion.
